between both the country was starting to better. The Soviet Union was a good friend of India
and provide the weapon during India and Pakistan war. The Soviet Union mostly
supports India on the Kashmir issue, especially in UNO. Subsequently, Soviet
Union attacked Afghanistan and Pakistan is a neighbor country. Pakistan and the Indian
army fought on borders. So, Pakistan decided to help Mujahidin and American
Agency CIA. During this war, the Russian army suffered heavy losses and divided

not give sufficient results. But the opportunity of good relations was good. After
gap of 7 years, the defense minister of Russia (Sergei Lavrov)
visited Pakistan and the foreign minister (Sergei Shoigu) visited
Pakistan. it is an important meeting to develop the relations and offered to four Mi-35
helicopters. During this meeting, the defense minister offered to gas
pipeline Karachi to Lahore with the investment of 1.7 billion dollars.
Now a lot of reasons to develop relations between Pakistan and Russia.
